Granita Cocktails

Spring, gotta love it. Best time to get into blood orange granita's while the fruit is still coming in fresh from the trees and the air is warm and the sun is bright. What better combination. So with that in mind I thought I would make up a granita to make tequila cocktails from for the BBQ planned for the day after.

For the past 2 years I have used Redbelly blood oranges for fresh juice in my cafe in Leichhardt, NSW.
